“Yaletown is such a dynamic, trendy neighbourhood, and we think the time is right to spread the best Yaletown has to offer to a global audience,” Freyburg Media president Warren Frey said.

One pilot episode has been released online, and can be viewed not only at thisisyaletown.com, the showʼs home page, but also on Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook, Myspace, and a multitude of other platforms.

“We created ʻThis Is Yaletownʼ because we saw a real lack of hyper-local coverage in the web video space. There are many local Vancouver blogs but to date no one has attempted to bring the sights and sounds of Yaletown online through video,” Frey said.
Plans are in the works to make the show into a weekly series, as well as establishing an online community for fans of the show.
